 DESCRIPTION

The building, built by the powerful Cardinal Altemps in the mid 1500s arranged around a beautiful courtyard decorated with a monumental fountain, houses an important collections of antiquities. In the rooms still partly frescoed we can admire Greek and Roman sculptures, of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries that belong to various noble families and that are exposed according to the antiquarian taste for ostentation of its ancient masterpieces.

Included in the price of the tour:

• expert guide in English (or, if available, any other language if required)
• tickets to Palazzo Altemps valid for 3 days for Palazzo Massimo, Crypta Balbi, Baths of Diocletian
• annual membership to the Association (for non-members)

tickets to Palazzo Altemps: Whole: € 10,00 per person; Reduced: € 6,50 per person (for EU students from 18 to 25 years, teachers),; Free: children under 18 years. First Sunday of each month: free admission. Until 31 January 2016 will be close: Whole: € 13 per person, reduced: € 9.50

• transport to / from the start / end of tour

Booking:

Cancellations of reservations NOT refunds will be made if the day before the tour

 Minimum and Maximun number of participants admitted to the Tour:

• each tour will be made if the number of participants is at least 2 (excluding the income children)
• each tour will be allowed a maximum of 20 participants (children are excluded from the count)

• Wear comfortable shoes, suitable clothing to the temperature of the period, bags or backpacks not heavy and not cumbersome
