 DESCRIPTION

Many have described as the best underground archaeological sites of Rome: the Roman houses at the Celio and the Domus Valentini Palace are a unique testimony of what is stored in the basement of Rome. If the first site you will admire environments beautifully frescoed Palazzo Valentini, with the help of computer graphics we will see how was the appearance of the city 2000 years ago.

Expenses included:

• expert guide in English (or, if available, any other language if required)
• entrance ticket to the  Case Romane al Celio and to Palazzo Valentini
• annual membership to the Association (for non-members)

entrance tickets:

• alle Case Romane: Adults: 8 €; Reduced: 6 € young 12-16 anni; 5 € students under 26 anni, free: under 12 anni – Reservations for  groupsof di plus of 10 person: € 25
• a Palazzo Valentini: Adults: € 13,50 Reduced: € 9,50 free: 0-6 anni; people not able
  Reductions: over 65 residenti in Roma e Provincia; children  6-17 anni

Expenses not included:

• trasport from/to the start-end point  of the tour
• rental of equipment  voice

Time and Place of the meeting:

At 9,45 at Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo (Piazza dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo, 13)

Booking:

if possible to be made one week before the date of tour

Cancellations of reservations NOT refunds will be made if the day before the tour

Minimum and Maximum number of participants admitted to the Tour:

• each tour will be made if the number of participants is at least 2(excluding the income children)
• each tour will be allowed a maximum of 20 participants (children are excluded from the count))

Useful tips:

• Wear comfortable shoes, suitable clothingto the temperatureof the period, bags orbackpacksnotheavyandnot cumbersome.
